Drop-In Program

Brass Bell Family Resource Centres are your local EarlyON Child and Family Centres for families with children age 0-6. Whether you are looking to drop-in or attend a program; there’s a place for all families within our Brass Bell community. Our friendly staff offer a welcoming and inclusive environment where families can connect and play! Contact your local centre to learn more.

KEyON.ca is a digital sign-in system that provides parents a quick and simple way to sign in at EarlyON Centres across Ontario.

CAPC and CPNP

The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) and the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) are intended to reach families facing conditions of risk and are funded through the Public Health Agency of Canada. CAPC is offered in partnership with our EarlyON Child & Family Centres and CPNP is a stand-a-lone program in Marathon.

Both programs aim to improve the health and well-being of pre & post-natal mothers and their infants; and to strengthen parental and family capacity in the early years. A variety of workshops and programs are offered on topics including but not limited to: Attachment, Breastfeeding, Maternal Mental Health, Child Development, Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Oral Health, Nutrition, Food Skills and more!

Baby’s Day Out

Our Baby’s Day Out program provides a warm, supportive space where families can connect with one another, share advice and find helpful resources and information.

The program also offers workshops and guest speakers to promote the optimal health and well-being of prenatal and postnatal mothers and their babies.

Licensed Child Care

The Family Place Child Care Centre in Nipigon offers quality licensed child care programs for children ages 18 months to 12 years.

  • Warm Nurturing Environment

  • Play-Based Learning

  • Nutritious Meal & Snacks according to Canada's Food Guide

The Centre operates in partnership with the EarlyON Child and Family Centre.

We offer a bursary program which is supported through fundraising activities by the staff and Board of Directors. Consideration is given to a student who will be continuing on to post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education (ECE).

Bursaries can be applied for at the following high schools:

  • Lake Superior High School

  • Manitouwadge High School

  • Marathon High School \ École secondaire Cité-Supérieure

  • Nipigon-Red Rock District High School
